About Me

Welcome to Stride and Shine Coaching! On YouTube, I am known as Midlife Runner, but in real life I am Andrew Pozza, an RRCA Level 1 Certified Coach and passionate long-distance runner with a deep love for the sport. My running journey started in March 2020 at the age of 40 — proof that it’s never too late for greatness

Like many runners, my first marathon was a humbling experience. I bonked hard at the 2021 Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon — a tough but valuable lesson that led me to hire a local coach. That decision changed everything. With the right structure and guidance, I unlocked personal bests in both the half marathon and marathon.

I just completed the Boston Marathon in 2:50:37, surpassing my sub-3 goal. But it’s not about the time — it’s about continuing to push my limits and discover what I’m capable of. That’s the mindset I want to help you develop, too.

At Stride and Shine, I believe in a balanced, sustainable approach to training that builds strength, endurance, and confidence without burning you out. My goal is to help you unlock your potential, whether you're chasing a PR, training for your first race, or simply looking to improve your overall fitness. Training plans are tailored to your lifestyle, fitness level, and goals — blending structured workouts, smart recovery, and race-day strategy. I also focus on helping athletes understand the why behind the training so you can grow as a runner and gain confidence with every stride.
